West Michigan 4th of July Fireworks Schedule 2017

Here are a few of the larger celebrations taking place in Kent and Ottawa Counties:

Grand Rapids

When: 10:30 p.m. On July 1

Where: Ah-Nab-Awen Park

The  Amway Family Fireworks  kicks off at 5 p.m. At Ah-Nab-Awen Park near the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum with family-oriented activities, games, food trucks, vendors exhibits and live bands. The fireworks are slated to begin at 10:30 p.m.

 

Kentwood

When: Dusk on July 4

Where: Crestwood Middle School 2674 44th Street

This day-long party includes a 5K Race & Fun Walk and Parade. An evening event at the Middle School will include carnival rides, games, inflatables, and more. Fireworks begin at dusk.

 

Ada/Cascade

When: Dusk on July 4

Where: Ada Christian School 6206 Ada Drive

A daytime book sale and parade will come before the evening fireworks display  in this Grand Rapids suburb.

 

Grandville

When:  Dusk on July 4

Where: 3535 Wilson Ave Southwest

Grandville’s three-day Independence Day Celebration will end with a fireworks display outside Grandville middle school on July 4.

 

East Grand Rapids

When: Dusk on July 4

Where: Collins Park 650 Lakeside Drive Southeast

East Grand Rapids’ festivities will start with a community parade  through the streets of town and continues throughout the day with family-oriented activities at Collins Park. The fireworks display will begin at the park at dusk.

 

Holland

When: 10 p.m. On July 4

Where: Kollen Park & Heinz Waterfront Walkway 240 Kollen Park Drive

There will be music, food and games beginning at 2 p.m. 

 

Grand Haven

When:  Dusk on July 4

Where: Waterfront Stadium 1 North Harbor Drive

“musical fountain” meaning a show with water and lights coordinated to music begins at 9:45 p.m. With a full fireworks show on the lakes at the end of the show.

 

Caledonia

When: Dusk on July 1

Where: CalPlex 5401 100th Street

A food drive will be held and free parking will be provided on site.

 

Green Lake (Leighton Township)

When: Dusk on July 3

Where: Reus Beach on Green Lake (Kalamazoo Ave south of 100th Street)

A  boat parade at 7:30 p.m. Near the slalom course will precede fireworks at dusk from the northwest corner of the lake.

 

Berlin Raceway

K&N Pro Series  night will be followed up with a fireworks display at the conclusion of the race.
